The car belongs to the son of popular radio DJ John Gemperle, widely known as Papa Jackson.
According to a report by GMA News, the footage showed the two suspects initially surveying the vehicle and checking the surroundings to ensure no one was watching.
One of the suspects then smashed the car window, gained access, and took off with a laptop, a hard disk drive, and ₱5,000 in cash.
Papa Jackson shared that the incident happened just minutes after the car was brought out of the garage for cleaning.
Strangely, the car alarm failed to go off during the break-in, which likely made it easier for the thieves to act undisturbed.
Authorities were immediately contacted following the robbery. With their help, the stolen laptop was recovered approximately 600 meters from the location of the incident.
The suspects, however, remain at large, and investigations are ongoing to track them down.
In a separate incident that also raised public concern, a 43-year-old motorcycle taxi rider was stabbed multiple times by a passenger who had booked him from Recto Avenue.
The attack happened around 5 a.m. in Quezon City.
Though the suspect stole the motorcycle, the rider's cellphone and wallet were left untouched.
The rider was rushed to the hospital by barangay personnel after a resident sought help.
