In his post, Mayor Vico provided background information on Curlee Discaya, identifying him as the husband of “Sara-St. Gerrard” Cruz Discaya.
He also noted that Curlee is a candidate/nominee for the Pinoy A.K.O. (Adhikain ng Katutubo at Obrero) Partylist, holding the second nominee position.
The first nominee for the partylist is Christian Cruz, the brother of “Sara-St. Gerrard” Cruz Discaya.

Mayor Vico said the partylist aims to represent the interests of indigenous peoples in Congress.
The disclosure, made via a social media post, comes during the 18th day of the official 45-day campaign period for the 2025 elections.
According to Mayor Vico, Discaya’s petition centered on allegations of “misinformation” regarding the St. Timothy project, despite both Sotto and the Commission on Elections (Comelec) Chairman having provided consistent information on the matter.
Discaya also reportedly cited social media posts from various users, including those on the platform Reddit, as grounds for disqualification.
Mayor Vico stated that the Comelec swiftly dismissed Discaya's petition. He then raised counter-allegations, suggesting that he allegedly possessed grounds for disqualification against his rival for mayorship of Pasig City.
It can be recalled that Sarah Discaya, the wife of Curlee Discaya, is running against Mayor Vico for the mayoral post of the City of Pasig.
The Pasig City chief executive claimed that Discaya had allegedly used his British passport as recently as 2025, which, according to Philippine election law, could constitute a continuing “act of allegiance” to a foreign state after filing a certificate of candidacy.
Mayor Vico further disclosed that he had been aware of Discaya’s alleged use of his British passport, including flight details, since January.
However, he said he chose not to file a disqualification petition, stating his desire to avoid disqualifying any candidates from Discaya’s camp.
The Pasig City chief executive then emphasized his commitment to breaking the cycle of excessive campaign spending, traditional politics, and corruption in Pasig City.
Mayor Vico concluded his post by stating that he chose to disclose this alleged information to uphold the public's right to know the truth.

The incident highlights the intense political climate in Pasig City as the 2025 elections approach.
The allegations and counter-allegations between Mayor Vico and the Discaya camp underscore the importance of adherence to election laws and the scrutiny faced by candidates regarding their qualifications and conduct.
