The investigation took a tragic turn when police recovered her lifeless body from the sea.
Police Captain Anthony Amora, chief of the Tabango Municipal Police Station, revealed that a rope was tied around the victim’s neck, with a rock attached to the other end—an apparent attempt to weigh down the body and conceal the crime.
Authorities have named Lyn’s boyfriend, a 30-year-old fisherman identified only as "Pablo," as the primary suspect.
CCTV footage obtained by investigators reportedly shows him as the last person seen with the victim before her disappearance.
Preliminary findings point to jealousy as the possible motive behind the killing, although further investigation is ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the crime.
The suspect is already in the custody of the Tabango Municipal Police Station.
The victim’s family is calling for justice as the case progresses.
