- A collision between a pickup truck and a private car resulted in 2 casualties and 7 injured people

- The accident happened along the national highway of Brgy Impao, Isulan, Sultan Kudarat, afternoon of Friday, April 4

- According to a report by 'Mata ng Agila Weekend' on NET25 YouTube channel, the pickup truck allegedly tried to overtake a yet-to-be-identified vehicle and crashed into the red Sedan from the opposite lane

- Included in the casualties was an 8-year-old girl and a 40-year-old man

In the copy of the report, the fatalities were identified as Charlie Mae Malacapay, 40 years old, and Aaliya Angel Malacapay, 8 years old, who were riding in the MG sedan.

Injured were Nelson Mijares Malacapay Jr., 46 years old, married and the driver of the sedan, Merlyn Flores, 63, Shamona Flores, 17, Jesil F. Lopez, 36, Jonela F. Lopez, 7, and Connie Sanico, 62 — all residents of Purok Samadinalagon, Brgy. Daladap, Esperanza, Sultan Kudarat.

Also injured was the driver of the pick-up, identified as Joven Ampo Catubo, 29 years old, married, and a resident of Purok 9, Brgy. Poblacion, Tacurong City.

Based on the investigation, the two vehicles were traveling along the National Highway in opposite directions.

Meanwhile, the grey Strada Mitsubishi pick-up with plate number LFX 802 was coming from Brgy. Poblacion, Isulan toward Brgy. Poblacion, Esperanza.
