His SUV was indeed fast, and at one point in the video, it showed that it was swerving fast and almost grazed a motorcycle rider in front of him.
One of the victims said the suspect was recklessly driving during that moment and that he almost hit his father's motorcycle.
Reportedly, when the SUV was stopped and cornered, that's when a couple of motorcycle riders started mugging him.
The suspect also claimed that one of the riders, an elderly one, was about to bring out his gun, so he defensively shot at them first.
However, the son of the elderly rider said his father had no gun in his possession at that moment.
Four individuals were shot during the incident, one of whom is currently in critical condition.
