A tragic collision in Mabalacat City, Pampanga, resulted in the deaths of three individuals, including a pregnant woman, when their car collided with an oncoming truck.

The victims were reportedly returning from a funeral wake at the time of the incident.
Footage obtained by GMA Regional TV One North Central Luzon documented the frantic efforts of bystanders to extricate the victims from the severely damaged vehicle.
The collision was also captured on the truck's dashcam, revealing the sequence of events leading to the fatal crash.

The dashcam video showed the car overtaking another vehicle along a stretch of Barangay Mawaque.
The car's driver appeared to lose control of the vehicle during the overtaking maneuver, veering into the path of the approaching truck.
The car impacted the truck's front, resulting in a devastating side-impact collision.
“Sa bilis nito [kotse] pagka-overtake niya, noong babalik na siya sa right lane, tumama ito sa gutter ng tulay and then na-lose control na siya. Humampas yung kotse sa harapan mismo ng dump truck,” stated PMSG. Mark Caisip, Chief Traffic Investigator of the Mabalacat Police Station.
Two occupants of the car, including the pregnant woman, died instantly at the scene. The car's driver succumbed to injuries later at a hospital.
According to investigators, the victims had been traveling from a funeral wake, and preliminary investigations suggest the driver may have been under the influence of alcohol.
“Galing sila sa lamay. Based sa breath ng driver, nakainom sila,” the Chief Traffic Investigator said in an interview.
“Mag-ingat sa pagmamaneho at siguraduhing hindi tayo mag-iinom ng alak kung tayo ay nagmamaneho,” advised Caisip.
Police authorities also reported that the victims’ family opted not to file a complaint against the truck driver. The truck's owner has pledged to provide financial assistance to the bereaved families.

She narrated the alleged events that transpired on that day, including a bit of what happened allegedly immediately after the stabbing. At one point, she turned emotional due to claims that her sister was the one who bullied the suspect instead of allegedly the other way around. She also narrated the alleged conversation that her sister had with their mother concerning the suspect whom the victim refused to lend her makeup to.
