Following the bomb scare, an Explosive Ordinance Disposal Team from the Mandaluyong Police was immediately sent to the area.
In a news article shared by GMA News Online, the team wasted no minute and quickly conducted a thorough search within the area.
"Fortunately, no explosive devices were found, and the OVP resumed operations at 4 p.m.," a statement from the OVP confirmed.
"Bomb threats are a serious matter concerning public security and safety," they added.
In the Philippines, making bomb threats or spreading false information about explosives is a serious crime under Presidential Decree No. 1727, also known as the "Anti-Bomb Joke Law." Offenders may face imprisonment, fines, and civil liabilities, with penalties determined by the court based on the severity of the offense. Such threats can also be prosecuted under the Revised Penal Code, and authorities enforce strict legal action to maintain public safety and order.
