Senator Imee Marcos is a Filipino politician, daughter of former President Ferdinand Marcos Sr. and sister of current President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. She previously served as governor of Ilocos Norte and was elected to the Senate in 2019. Known for her strong political views, she often speaks on issues related to governance, culture, and economic policies.

In a previous report by KAMI, Senator Imee Marcos issued her statement about the recent arrest of former president Rodrigo Duterte. In what seemed to be a press conference shared by ANC 24/7 on their YouTube channel, senator Marcos showed sympathy to the former president. It can be recalled that FPRRD was arrested after a warrant of arrest was released by the ICC against Duterte for crimes against humanity. However, sen Imee claimed that she hasn't seen the warrant of arrest by ICC following the former president's arrest.
