Rep. Rodante Marcoleta expressed his intention to summon a specific individual to the House of Representatives.

The person in question is a vlogger who, according to Marcoleta, goes by the name "Epifanio Labrador" on social media.

He made the request after the vlogger allegedly called him "DEMONYO" and "DIABLO."

Furthermore, the same vlogger also cursed both Marcoleta and Apollo Quiboloy, referring to them as "DIABLO."

Apart from that, the said vlogger also called out Marcoleta's religion.

"Tayo po, ang ating role lang eh basta ayusin lang po natin ang ating pagsisilbi. Kahit ano po'ng sabihin nila sa'tin. Tignan niyo po 'yung pagmumura nila sa akin, ni hindi ko nga po kilala 'yan eh. Kung murahin niya po ako eh, narinig po ninyo lahat kung anong pinagsasabi niya. But people, I think, will not believe him dahil hindi po ako 'yun, 'yung sinasabihan niya," said Rep. Marcoleta.

It can be recalled that the House of Representatives requested the presence of some social media personalities to attend a hearing about the widespread of fake news on social media.

In February 2025, approximately 40 social media influencers were invited by the House's tripartite committee to serve as resource persons in a hearing addressing the spread of fake news and disinformation online. Notable personalities such as MJ Quiambao Reyes and Krizette Laureta Chu were among those invited.

Rep. Rodante Marcoleta is a Filipino politician and lawmaker currently serving as a member of the House of Representatives. He is known for his strong stance on various national issues, including his role in opposing the franchise renewal of ABS-CBN and advocating for conservative policies. As a representative of the SAGIP Party-list, he has been vocal on legislative matters related to media regulation, public welfare, and national governance.

Chu and other social media personalities were invited by the House of Representatives about the rampant spread of fake news and disinformation. She was questioned by Rep. Bienvenido Abante and pointed out the social media post made by Chu on December 28, 2024. Rep. Bienvenido Abante questioned her social media posts calling the government "tanga."

Additionally, MJ Quiambao Reyes, another blogger, was in tears while pleading not to be put in contempt by The House of Representatives. Reyes was among the content creators summoned by the House about the proliferation of fake news and disinformation online - She apologized right in front of the Representatives and asked them not to put her in contempt. The known social media personality pointed out that she has a mother and mother-in-law who are both bedridden.
