Sen. Jinggoy highlighted Torre’s remarks when he was heard saying, "Hihilahin ko 'yan! Hihilahin ko 'yan!"
In his defense, Torre clarified that he was referring to Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea and not the former president.
Sen. Jinggoy also questioned why Torre did not allow VP Sara Duterte to enter the premises when requested by FPRRD considering she is his daughter and also a lawyer.
Together with Senator Imee Marcos, Sen. Jinggoy pointed out that it's indicated in the law that a direct family member is allowed to visit arrested individuals, and it should've been the same for FPRRD considering he was not yet actually arrested when he requested VP Sara to enter the Villamor Air Base.
Sen. Jinggoy reflected way back when they were arrested and he said, everything flashed back into his mind, referring to the way their arrest was handled.
He said Torre could've given FPRRD a courtesy considering his age and considering that he was a former president of the Philippines.

Bato said Torre shouldn't be carried away by the authority that he currently has "because all these things shall pass." He said Torre's power and authority are temporary and what he did to the former president was too much when he was heard saying "Hihilahin ko 'yan! Hihilahin ko 'yan!"
