A woman was caught on video being physically assaulted by her husband, with the footage filmed by her own friend.

The alarming incident was later reported to authorities by the husband’s mother, according to GMA Public Affairs.

Concerned for her daughter’s safety, the mother-in-law decided to take action and sought police assistance.

Together with law enforcement officers, she went to the couple’s house to intervene.

However, despite the abuse, the woman chose to stay with her husband, admitting that she was at fault in the incident.
