Davao City Mayor Sebastian 'Baste' Duterte addressed their supporters in a public gathering.
During the celebration of the '88th Araw ng Davao' today, he delivered strong remarks directed at President Bongbong Marcos Jr.
His statements centered on the recent arrest of his father, former president Rodrigo Duterte.

In the video, courtesy of TV 5, he said, “I will take this opportunity to tell Mr. Marcos how I feel about him. Mr. President Marcos, you will never be loved, especially to us who are calling out Rody Duterte’s name.”

He also said, "WE WILL STAND UP AND WE WILL FIGHT BACK!" Seemed to be referring to the recent arrest of FPRRD.
It can be recalled that the former president was issued a warrant of arrest by the International Criminal Court or ICC for crimes against humanity.
He is currently in The Hague in the Netherlands in custody of the ICC and recently had his pre-trial.
His current lawyer is his former Executive Secretary, Salvador Medialdea, the only lawyer being recognized by the ICC.

Sebastian "Baste" Duterte, born on November 3, 1987, is the current mayor of Davao City and assumed office on June 30, 2022. Before entering politics, he was known for his love of surfing and even hosted a travel show called "Lakbai" on TV5 in 2017. He began his political career as Davao City's vice mayor in 2019 before being elected mayor in 2022.

In a previous report by KAMI, Davao City Mayor, Sebastian 'Baste' Duterte went to his father's house in the said city. Together with their family's supporters and lawyers, Mayor Baste guarded his old man's house. In a report by GMA 7's 'Unang Balita,' Mayor Duterte said he received information that his father's house will be raided by authorities. Although he was happy with the support shown by people, Baste encouraged their supporters to go home and rest since there were already lawyers present in the premises.
Additionally, Senator Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa has broken his silence a day after former President Rodrigo Duterte was arrested and whisked away on a plane bound for The Hague in The Netherlands. It can be recalled that many have been wondering as to the whereabouts of the senator, who was the PNP Chief when FPRRD was still the president. Many perceive Sen. Bato as the chief implementor of FPRRD’s war on illegal substances. His statement came amid the recent ruling of the Supreme Court, denying his petition for a temporary restraining order or TRO against the arrest warrant issued by the ICC.
