Former Vice Mayor Brian Velasco of Panglao, Bohol is calling for justice following the unjust arrest of his brother, Bert Velasco, by the Land Transportation Office (LTO), Negros News Bites reported.

According to Brian, there were significant inconsistencies in the statements given by the LTO personnel regarding the incident.
The officers claimed that Bert exhibited aggressive behavior and "went berserk," but Brian insists that this was far from the truth.
The situation began when Bert was simply sitting on his motorcycle when he was flagged down by LTO officers.

According to Brian, his brother had not shown any signs of aggression or resistance at that point.
In fact, Bert tried to explain his situation calmly to the officers, telling them that he is a farmer and that he always carries a knife as part of his work.
In the viral video, one could hear Bert saying, "Farmer ako sir."
However, the officers allegedly ignored his explanation and proceeded with the arrest.
Brian Velasco emphasized that his brother’s knife is an essential tool for his farming activities, not a weapon for aggression.
He expressed his disbelief and frustration that the officers did not take his brother’s explanation into account.
Now, Brian is speaking out, demanding justice for his brother and accountability for the LTO officers involved.
