A tricycle driver who is also a Person With Disability (PWD) was mugged by five men in Barangay Tatalon, Quezon City.

In a CCTV footage, the victim was riding his tricycle when he suddenly passed by the suspects and was immediately attacked.

Despite already falling to the ground, the assailants continued to punch and kick him without mercy.

The PWD tricycle driver was helpless, and based on the video, it almost seemed that he lost consciousness for a short while.

His backride was stunned and had no other options but to helplessly watch the driver being mugged.

The victim sustained bruises and budges on his head.

In a report by TV 5's 'Gud Morning Kapatid,' the victim said he had no idea who his assailants were.

Apart from mugging him, the suspects reportedly stole the victim's mobile phone.

Escorted by policemen, the victim went back to his tricycle. Unfortunately, his personal belongings were no longer inside his vehicle.

The barangay already knew who the suspects were. They summoned the relatives of the suspects, so they could settle the issue face-to-face.

One of the suspected assailants went to the barangay himself but denied the allegations against him.

Invesitgations are still ongoing and the suspect said he's ready to file a legal complaint against the suspects.
