The former mayor of Lumbaca-Unayan in Lanao Del Sur, Abdulazis Tadua Aloyodan, was killed.

According to a report by GMA Regional TV, the former mayor was rushed to the hospital for immediate medical attention but eventually passed away.

Based on police investigations, Tadua Aloyodan was shot outside their house by unidentified suspects riding a pickup.

The heinous crime was condemned by Lanao Del Sur Governor Mamintal Alonto Adiong Jr. following a statement released by his office.
