According to a report by Marisol Abdurahman on GMA News' 24 Oras on Tuesday, the suspect began his robbery spree at a convenience store in Caloocan City around 11:30 p.m. on Friday.
CCTV footage showed the armed suspect threatening store staff at gunpoint before taking money from the cash register and fleeing.
Just over an hour later, he used the same method to rob another convenience store in Quezon City.

After another hour, he returned to Caloocan to rob a third convenience store.
“Pinapasok n’ya tinututukan niya yung cashier. Doon, nililimas na niya mga benta ng convenience store na ito. Tina-try niya na pabuksan yung mga vault pero hanggang sa kaha lang ang kaniyang nakukuha,” said Caloocan Police Chief Colonel Edcille Canals.
By 5 a.m. on Saturday, the suspect struck again in Quezon City, robbing a couple walking on the street.
“Nadaanan lang. Gun point tinutukan, kinuha yung bag na naglalaman ng importanteng dokumento tsaka pera,” Canals added.
The suspect was seen wearing the same clothes in all incidents.
Authorities later arrested him in Baclaran, where he was identified as a notorious convenience store robber.
“Nahulihan siya ng granada during our follow-up operation. May baril. Naitago na niya. Hindi na natin na recover yung baril,” Canals said.
Police believe the suspect was also involved in robberies in San Jose del Monte and Marilao, Bulacan.
Investigations reveal he is allegedly a member of a carnapping and robbery group and had been imprisoned in 2024 for a similar case.
However, the suspect denies involvement, claiming he was only stationed outside on a motorcycle and insisting he was in Baclaran working at the time of the crimes.
