- Persons Of Interest in the tragic death of a service crew in Caloocan City were allegedly related to each other

- This was the revelation made by the Caloocan City Police in a recent update to the said case

- According to the assistant chief of the North Caloocan City Police investigation and detective management section, the POIs were related to each other

- The victim was reported missing by his family last February 18

The Caloocan City Police have identified two to three persons of interest in the gruesome killing and dismemberment of a 37-year-old service crew member of a fast-food chain, who was also a member of the LGBTIQA+ community.

According to PCpt. Nelson Dizon, assistant chief of the investigation and detective management section of the North Caloocan City Police, the persons of interest are related to each other.

This includes a tattoo artist who owns the house where the victim's body was discovered.

“Continuous ang follow up operation ng Caloocan Police para mahanap yung whereabouts ng persons of interest,” P/Cpt Dizon said.

“May mga statement na naman tayo nakuha base doon sa statement ng relative ng suspek o person of interest,” he added.

The relationship between the victim and the tattoo artist remains unclear.

Witnesses reported that the victim had been drinking with the tattoo artist prior to the disappearance.

The victim was reported missing on February 18th after telling family members about an errand.

On February 21st, the victim's remains were found in the tattoo artist's house in Phase 10, Barangay 176, North Caloocan City.

Neighbors were forced to enter the house due to a foul odor emanating from within.

Upon entering, they discovered the victim's body wrapped in a blanket on the bed.

Both legs had been severed. One leg was found in an icebox. The victim also sustained stab wounds to the back and a slash wound to the neck.

The victim's wake is being held at their home in San Jose Del Monte City, Bulacan.

The brutality of the crime has shocked the community and raised concerns about the safety of LGBTQIA+ individuals.

The police investigation is focused on locating and questioning the identified persons of interest.
