Two minor junior high school students were injured after they were stabbed and beaten by fellow students outside a school in Pasig City. Seven of the minors involved are now in police custody.

In a statement, Pasig City Police chief Police Colonel Hendrix Mangaldan said the stabbing incident occurred at around 2:15 p.m. on Thursday, which stemmed from a fight between students inside the campus.
“The fight between the students led to the stabbing of the two victims,” Mangaldan said.

“It is very sensitive because those involved are all minors. However, we have conducted the appropriate investigation and the seven minors are now in the custody of the Pasig police,” he added.

According to Mangaldan, the police are already coordinating with the City Social Welfare and Development Office, Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto, and the school administration regarding the incident.
In the viral video, a group of male students can be seen helping two students. The teenagers received blows from the group.
The fight only stopped when they noticed that there was blood on their uniforms, according to a report by Bea Pinlac in "Balitanghali" on Friday.
One of the students who were fighting punched him, before one of the men finally disobeyed them.
Another of the victims, on the other hand, was stabbed in various parts of the body, according to the police.
The injured students were taken to the hospital.
With the help of witnesses, the police arrested seven of the minors involved in the beating and stabbing of the victims.
Several others were voluntarily brought to the authorities by their parents.

The one who stabbed the two victims himself was the youngest of the group, 13 years old.
The folded knife allegedly used in the stabbing was recovered.
