The mother then threatened and asked her child, if he wanted her to strangle him.
“Gusto mong sakalin kita?” asked the mother. “Ayoko! Ayoko na po!” answered the kid.
The child continued to struggle until his grandmother arrived. Instead of stopping the assault, the grandmother also struck the child three times with a slipper.
She then tried to pull the child away, but he refused to go with her.
The video, which lasted over seven minutes, captured the boy screaming as he was forcibly taken inside the house.
Concerned residents reported the incident to barangay officials, who then alerted the police.
Investigators found that the child had been sent to buy cigarettes but instead spent the money on toys and was only found at 5 p.m.
The mother, three months pregnant, claimed she lost control due to exhaustion from searching for him.
“Kaya ko lang din na ganu’n ‘yung anak ko, sa sobrang pagod na po nanghihina ako dahil namutla na rin po ako, hindi ko na kaya. Pagod na pagod na ako," she explained.
