A 19-year-old woman who was about to make a purchase at a botica, panicked when she saw that her motorcycle was being taken away by a thief.
According to ABS-CBN, the victim was about to enter the botica when she remembered that she left the key in the ignition.
Turning around to get the key, it was when she saw that the suspect was already taking her motorcycle.
It was when she started shouting, and it was also at that precise moment that she caught the attention of police on patrol.

"'Yung biktima po namin naiwan 'yung susi sa motor. Nung papasok pa lang siya naalala niya agad na wala pala 'yung susi niya. Kaya daling bumalik siya agad sa motor niya. Doon nakita na niya na-start na, papatakbo na 'yung motor. Dun siya nagsisigaw, at nakuha naman ang atensyon namin," said Police Major Arnold Lising, Alvarez Police Community Precinct Commander.
"Habang nagco-conduct kami ng anti-criminality campaign sa may kahabaan ng Fugoso Street, may narinig po kaming babae na humihingi ng tulong na kinuha raw 'yung motor niya. Habang hinuhuli po namin nakatakbo po 'yung suspek. Iniwan niya 'yung motor nagkaroon kami ng mahabang habulan mula sa Fugoso Street. Kumaliwa siya sa P. Guevarra, doon na namin inabutan 'yung suspek. Nakuhaan na rin namin siya ng baril habang kinakapkapan doon sa lugar," he said.
He also reminded everyone to be careful and mindful, even though how busy people can get.
The suspect is already in their custody.
