- Police authorities already have one of the suspects, alias "Popoy," a former employee of the victim who had a previous frustrated murder case but was dismissed
- While one of the suspects died after allegedly diving into a river to escape the arresting police officers

In a report by GMA Regional TV - One North Central Luzon, a motorcycle that served as their vehicle is already in police custody.
Additionally, recovered from the suspects were a caliber 45, cash, IDs, a grenade, and a sachet of what's believed to be an illegal substance.
The suspect will be facing multiple legal cases.

In another viral local report, a wanted man in Basud, Camarines Norte was arrested in Laguna for allegedly taking advantage of his 16-year-old stepsister. According to the victim, she lost control of herself due to too much intoxication. She, her stepbrother, and other friends were drinking in July 2023, and she woke up from the heinous crime being committed by three men including her stepbrother. The other two suspects were first arrested by the police, and the victim's stepbrother was arrested after over a year.
