Fr. Luciano Felloni, the Argentinian missionary who helped establish a parish-based rehabilitation program to help in the healing of dr*g addicts and the social communications director of the Diocese of Novaliches has passed away on Sunday.

The Roman Catholic Diocese of Novaliches confirmed the news through a Facebook post.

Fr. Felloni was 51, and was one who spoke fluent Filipino.

“With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Fr. Luciano Felloni today,” the Diocese of Novaliches said.

"We are deeply moved by the outpouring of prayers and support during this time of sorrow. Your love and compassion have been a source of strength and comfort to us all," the diocese said.
