A child in Pasig City sustained burned skin on his nose and upper portion of the upper lip after allegedly using wet wipes, which her mother bought for P179 online.

In a report by KMJS, the mother said that the old brand of wet wipes that she has been using was out of stock.

So, she tried a new set of wet wipes, which was described as something for sensitive skin, and also good for babies.

So when her son came home from daycare, he already had a runny nose, and it was the first time that she used the wet wipes on her child.

Later, her child started to have a red nose and the skin on the upper portion of the upper lip also turned red.

He also had fever, and when he was brought to the hospital, the doctor said that his skin seemed burned.
