A woman has has shared on Facebook her harrowing experience after she allegedly underwent a gluta-drip.

A gluta-drip, or glutathione intravenous infusion, is a type of treatment allowing glutathione to be introduced into the bloodstream through IV drip.
In her video, the woman, identified through her Facebook handle as Jelly Macha, said she allegedly suffered an infection, which caused her right eye to shut tight.
She said in the video that she was allegedly unable to open her right eye even if she tried hard to do so.

Macha also blamed the gluta session she allegedly underwent recently.
“This video is for awareness. Para sa mga gustong magpaganda, na gustong mag-improve ang sarili nila. Nagkaroon ako ng impeksyon sa aking gluta-drip session. Fault ko, kasi una pa lang, naramdaman ko na na hindi marunong yung nurse na nagturok sa akin,” Macha narrated.
“Una siyang nagturok sa akin dito, sinagad niya yung pinaka-needle and pumutok agad yung ugat ko. Nag-try ulit dito, then pumutok ulit, nag-try siya ulit then pumutok ulit. Sabi ko tama na stop na. Tinulungan naman siya ng isang nurse and pumayag ako. My fault again na pumayag ako,” she continued.
“And then nung nag-okay na siya, yung nurse na naunang nagkabit, yung pinaka-nakadugtong dun sa gamot, hindi na-lock ng maayos. And then nung nag-okay, in-open niya, sumabog yung gamot, and then kinover niya nung kamay niya. So hindi ko na rin yun naisip na baka magkaroon yun ng infection or something. Itinuloy pa rin. Fault ko pa rin kasi pinatuloy ko,” she added.
Macha then said that beginning Saturday of last week, she experienced an intense headache and had to go to the “ER.”
“Saturday last week, sobrang sakit na ng ulo ko, nagising ako ng 1:30 ng madaling araw, sobrang sakit na. Di ko na siya mapigilan and then pumunta ako sa ER, suka ako nang suka,” she said.
“Hanggang sa umabot na ngayon, one week na ngayon, gumawa ako ng video asking for prayers para sa fast recovery ko. And awareness para mga gustong magpaganda, magpa-gluta, na i-check nyong mabuti kung marunong ba yung nurse kung ano ang gagawin sa inyo para hindi po mangyari sa inyo ito,” she added.
“Now I'm hoping na hindi ako mabulag. May improvement naman since kagabi. Kaya lang hindi ako maka-reply sa mga nagmi-message sa akin, sa mga friends ko, kasi sobrang in pain po. Hindi ko talaga kayang madilat ng matagal yung mata ko. Suka lang ako nang suka. Sa lahat po na nag-aalala, sa lahat na nagmi-message, medyo better naman po, pero humihingi pa rin po ako ng prayers sa inyo. thank you po,” Macha said in the video she posted on Facebook.
