Two senior high school students drowned in Ungga Falls in Baras, Rizal on Jan. 20.
According to the report of Balitanghali, the two students were 17 and 18.
There were actually four of them who went to the falls, but one of them immediately dived into the water and was swept by the current and ended in the deep part of the waters.
A classmate tried to rescue him but the same happened to him as well.

“Nakita na lamang siya na nagkakawag at humingi ng saklolo. Siya naman po ay sinaklolohan ng kaniyang kaklase. Parehas na po sila napunta sa medyo malalim. Sa kasamaang palad, itong apat na magkakaklase ay hindi naman po pala ganoon na marunong lumangoy," said Police Major Robert Papa, chief of Baras Police.
Investigation showed that the four classmates got their medical certificates for their work immersion and ended up deciding on taking a dip at the falls.
