He was allegedly a Chinese spy "scanning" critical infrastructures in the country, according to Philstar.

The Bureau of Immigration also revealed that he was married to a Filipina and has been going in and out of the country since 2015.

Immigration Commissioner Joel Viado said that they will be initiating deportation proceedings against Yuangqing.

However, the bureau will not be implementing the deportation proceedings until "all local accountabilities and penalties have been resolved and served."

The said spy was arrested together with two Filipino cohorts.
