A man accused of stealing a bag was beaten by vendors in Divisoria, Manila.

In a report by GMA 7's 24 Oras, a lady vendor said she was sure she saw the man taking a belt bag from her store.

She shouted for help, and other vendors came to assist her, attacking the alleged thief.

The man claimed that someone threw the stolen bag to him and that he was also trying to catch the real thief.

The arrested man was later on put in custody of Manila Police District Station 11, and he might face theft as a legal charge against him.
