The OFW who allegedly killed a Kuwaiti child was reportedly depressed, according to Foreign Affairs Undersecretary Eduardo De Vega.
He said that the PH Embassy in Kuwait received such reports at the time of the incident.
Based on the report of ABS-CBN, citing Gulf News and Arab Times, the OFW placed the child in the washing machine because of "frustration" for the child was allegedly disturbing her.
"I cannot confirm pero based on the news, I does look like 'yun nga eh she was annoyed or depressed. May narinig 'yung embassy na meron daw siyang depression or something. Because alam naman natin hindi normal 'to na gagawin mo 'yun," De Vega told ABS-CBN during a phone interview on Dec. 29.
