Three women, including a senior citizen, were brutally beaten to death while they slept in Calamba, Laguna.

Police reports revealed that the suspect used an improvised "sumpak" to carry out the attack.

In a report by Jun Veneracion in GMA 7's SAKSI, investigations showed that the victims and the suspect had been drinking together before the incident occurred.

In a follow-up operation, the suspect was arrested and admitted to the crime, citing issues of betrayal as his motive.

He also added that one of his victims tried to attack him using a machete. The suspect will face multiple counts of legal charges.
