A senior citizen lost her life, and two others were injured after being struck by a closed van.

CCTV footage showed three women walking when the van approached their location.

In a report by James Agustin of GMA 7's State of the Nation, two of the victims were dragged under the vehicle, and sadly, the senior citizen did not survive.

According to the driver’s assistant, the van allegedly experienced brake failure, causing the driver to panic and hit the victims.

The 43-year-old driver, who's now in the custody of Quezon City Police District Traffic Sector 4, made no comments about the incident.
