A Police Staff Sergeant is now facing cases of grave threat and alarm and scandal after allegedly pointing a firearm at another person.
Reports revealed that the officer had applied for a five-day leave, but his request was denied since another officer had already filed for leave on the same dates.
Additionally, he wasn't allowed to be on leave because they'd be understaffed in their department.
He was promptly arrested, and his firearm was confiscated.

In a previous report by KAMI, a 16-year-old boy jumped into a creek but unfortunately died after allegedly trying to steal a bicycle. The incident happened in Barangay Imelda, Baguio City, yesterday. According to the police's investigation, the teenager was accompanied by a 10-year-old boy in his attempt to steal a bicycle. However, a construction worker saw them and called them out; that's when they tried to flee from the scene and jumped into a creek.
In another viral story reported by KAMI, a gasoline boy was chopped in the face with a machete when a customer whom he called out got mad at him. The suspect allegedly asked for his motorcycle tank to be fully filled, however, he only paid ₱50. In a CCTV footage, the rider parked his motorcycle on one side of the gasoline station, took out a machete from his utility box, and swung it right in the face of the gasoline boy. Thankfully, the suspect was caught by a security guard, and the victim was quickly taken to the hospital and is now recovering from the wound.
