Earlier in the news, it stated that the said utility worker died after he fell from an elevator in a mall in Baguio City. Based on the report of Frontline, the utility worker went straight inside an elevator at the mall. However, he did not see that the elevator cabin was not there, which led him to fall to his death, from a height of approximately 65 feet, roughly six stories. According to the report, the bones of the victim were broken due to the fall.
Meanwhile, in another viral news also involving a janitor, a PAOCC official was meted out with a suspension order after an alleged video of him slapping a janitor of a BPO they raided went viral. Winston Casio, the spokesperson of the Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission (PAOCC), was ordered relieved of his duties pending the agency’s investigation of the alleged incident. In the video that recently went viral, Casio can be seen standing in front of another man, presumably the janitor of the BPO they raided. Casio has since then addressed the issue of the alleged slapping incident in a November 5 morning interview with ABS-CBN News.
