Dating KOJC member, isiniwalat ang umano'y P15M na quota nila sa Christmas caroling

- Teresita Valdehueza, a former Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) member, revealed their alleged P15M quota for Christmas caroling

- She said this in front of the Senate Committee on Women, Children, Family Relations, and Gender Equality as her testimony against Apollo Quiboloy

- Valdehueza recalled the memories where she had to force and exploit young children just to reach their P15M quote for Christmas

- The former KOJC member also added that she had her own December quota alone, which was about P10 to P15M

Teresita Valdehueza, a former member of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC), disclosed their P15 million quota for Christmas caroling.

She shared this during her testimony against Apollo Quiboloy in front of the Senate Committee on Women, Children, Family Relations, and Gender Equality.

Valdehueza recalled how she had to pressure and exploit young children to meet the P15 million target for Christmas.

“Naghirap ang maraming workers at members sa pag-caroling at pag-solicit sa bawat tao sa lahat ng dako dito sa ating bansa. May namatay, may naaksidente, may nakulong, may mga na-rape pa na hindi na nai-report dahil baka hindi paniwalaan,” said Valdehueza.

She also revealed that she personally had her own December quota, which ranged between P10 to P15 million.

“Meron din po akong quota na [I also have a quota of] P10 to P15 million to raise in the month of December alone. I organized the nationwide caroling to meet my quota. We recruited and trafficked our young people from Mindanao and Visayas to carol in the provinces of Luzon and in the National Capital Region cities,” she added.

Apollo Quiboloy is a Filipino pastor and founder of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ church. He claims to be the "Appointed Son of God" and has strong ties to former president Rodrigo Duterte. Quiboloy is also known for founding Sonshine Media Network. He has been accused of crimes like sex trafficking and money laundering, and the FBI issued a warrant for his arrest. In September 2024, he was arrested after a large bounty was placed on him by the Philippine government.

Torreon said Pastor Quiboloy “decided to submit himself to the folds of the law” because he can’t bear to see that the rights of his followers are already “being trampled upon.” He then reiterated that the preacher surrendered and was not arrested as some sectors would like others to believe. The lawyer then issued an appeal regarding the fake news about the supposed “arrest” of Pastor Quiboloy.
