President Bongbong Marcos, in a video recently shared by ABS-CBN News, gave a meaningful look and smile to the question asked by a reporter in an ambush interview.

The reporter was asking for PBBM’s reaction to the pronouncements made by the vice-president in a recent press conference.

It can be recalled that VP Sara said that if the Marcos family keeps on attacking her, he would exhume the remains of the late President Ferdinand Marcos Sr. and throw it to the West Philippine Sea.

She also revealed that she had imagined beheading President Bongbong Marcos because of their toxic relationship.

In the video shared by ABS-CBN News, a reporter asked PBBM on his comment to the statement of VP Sara saying that “he does not know how to be a President.”

The President just gave a meaningful look and smile at the reporter and then walked away without saying anything.

Ferdinand "Bongbong" Romualdez Marcos Jr., also more popularly known as BBM or PBBM, is the 17th President of the Republic of the Philippines. He also served as Governor of Ilocos Norte in 1983, holding that office until the ouster of his father, President Ferdinand Marcos Sr. In 1998, he was elected again as Governor of Ilocos Norte and served for three terms and later ran and won a seat in the Philippine Senate during the 2010 elections. He served as Philippine Senator until 2016. He ran for Vice-President during the 2016 elections but was unsuccessful and in 2022, he ran for president and won with a landslide victory.

About a week ago, PBBM went to the Sorsogon Sports Arena where he met former Vice President Leni Robredo and former senator Bam Aquino. Photos of their jovial greeting and handshake has gone viral. Camille Villar was also with them, and who likewise was smiling when the former VP and the President greeted each other. Sen. Chiz Escudero said that the meeting was very symbolic since it transpired in a sports arena.

Meanwhile early this month, PBBM urged fellow leaders at the 27th ASEAN-Japan Summit in Lao PDR to uphold maritime security and cooperation. He also enumerated the different incidents of harassment of China in the West Philippine Sea, in front of Chinese Premiere Li Qiang. In addition, the President hailed the commitment of Japan in terms of partnering for peace and stability. He also called to expedite the formation of the code of conduct in the area.
