It can be recalled Lerma and her husband, Arvin, were ambushed and killed by gunmen in broad daylight in Mexico, Pampanga, on October 4, Friday.
Police authorities recently announced they have caught the mastermind, Anthony Limon who turned out to be a close friend and business associate of the Lulu couple, and members of a gun-for-hire group.
Authorities have already presented the suspects to the media.
Lerms Lulu, a popular online seller, and her husband Arvin Lulu, were killed in a broad daylight ambush in Pampanga. Lerms Lulu, whose real name is Lerma Waje Lulu, is one of the top distributors of “Brilliant Skin,” a rising cosmetic brand. In a report by Rappler quoting police authorities, the victims were onboard their vehicle when the incident happened. Many netizens, expressing shock at what happened, condoled with the family of the victims and also demanded justice for their untimely demise.
Earlier, Leslie also shared a screenshot of her conversation with another person the morning after her sister was shot and killed by gunmen. The convo, which was in their local dialect, appeared to show that the said person was inquiring about the wake of Lerma. The person also expressed her condolences to the whole family and at the same time, told them to be strong. It can be recalled that the alleged mastermind, Anthony Limon, and six purported members of a gun-for-hire group, were all apprehended by authorities recently.
Meanwhile, in a report on 24 Oras of GMA News, it was revealed that the son of slain couple Lerms and Arvin Lulu is a godchild of the alleged mastermind, Anthony Limon. The Pampanga Police Director, PCol Jay Dimaandal, said that this means, the online seller couple would be "kumare" and "kumpare" of the mastermind. The police officer also said that there was an alleged P13 million loan made by the alleged mastermind from the couple. The alleged mastermind, along with six other suspects were arrested by police officers.
