Lerms Lulu and her husband Arvin Lulu’s untimely death is being mourned by thousands of those who knew them.

Among their close friends who expressed shock and sadness at their untimely passing is Leo Ortiz, the CEO of Rising Dragon Beauty and Wellness Corporation.

In a series of posts on Threads, Leo expressed his love and affection for the couple, whom he said he’s known for many years.

He also said that he would always remember the memories he had with the couple in sadness and triumphs, as well as business meetings and travels together.

“Bessie Lerms ko, Arvin, Salamat sa lahat ng Alaala at Pinagsamahan natin😭😭😭 Ilang taon na tayo Pinagtibay ng panahon sa Online. Sa Lungkot man or Tagumpay, Business meetings man or TRAVEL together,” Leo Ortiz wrote on Threads.

“Mahal namin kyo! 😭🙏” the Rising Dragon CEO added.

Leo also said in a later post that they were unable to sleep well last night as they pondered on the death of the couple, wondering why it happened.

“Hindi kami nakatulog ng maayos bessie Lerms Lulu, Arvin🥹😭 Bakit po nangyayari ito?🙏 Anxiety attack 😭,” Leo said in his post on Threads.

News, photos or videos that arouse the interest of netizens would often go viral on social media, due to the attention netizens give them. These viral posts appeal to the emotions of netizens, and in rare cases, such could also happen to ordinary people, making them very relatable.

It can be recalled that Lerms Lulu, a popular online seller, and her husband Arvin, were killed in a broad daylight ambush in Pampanga. Lerms Lulu, whose real name is Lerma Waje Lulu, is one of the top distributors of “Brilliant Skin,” a rising cosmetic brand. In a report by Rappler quoting police authorities, the victims were onboard their vehicle when the incident happened. Many netizens, expressing shock at what happened, condoled with the family of the victims and also demanded justice for their untimely demise.

Meanwhile, Lerms Lulu's cryptic post on Oct. 2, 2024 has caused many to speculate as to whether or not it was directed at somebody. The post was actually a repost of Chinkee Tan's message about debt. Lerms made the post two days before she and her husband were gunned down. The post says that if a person knows how to pay debt, there is a higher chance at success.
