A female motorcycle rider passed away after meeting a tragic accident in Paco, Manila.

According to Manila Bulletin’s report, the victim identified as Niexel Gianna Ruiz died after she was ran over by a trailer truck while cruising the eastbound lane of Quirino Avenue.

Ruiz accidentally hit the plastic barrier positioned on the side of the road. She was thrown from the motorcycle due to the impact.

The approaching truck’s right wheel then hit the head of Ruiz, who was later declared dead on the spot.

As per a report by “Frontline Pilipinas,” the victim was a 27-year-old single parent with a seven-year-old child.

In an interview with News 5, the victim’s mother, Gina Ruiz, believed that her daughter was in a hurry to get home because she was tired from work.

Earlier, a food delivery rider, who was just standing next to his motorcycle, was killed in a road crash involving an SUV and a sedan in Iligan City on Thursday, July 25. In a report by GMA Regional TV One Mindanao, the SUV crashed into the front portion of the sedan and hit other vehicles parked on the side of the road, including the deceased victim.
