"Yes, it’s October and my Christmas decorations are already up. 🎄 Very Filipino of me, I know! A special thank you to @designerblooms for setting up this beauty with the main theme of course being Filipiniana."

She added what the sight means to her on a personal level:

"There’s something about a lit-up Christmas tree that brings me peace and comfort. Maybe it’s also the feeling of another year coming to an end, a reminder to slow down and breathe."

Yet behind the cozy glow, Solenn could not ignore the heavier realities felt across the country:

"But amidst all the celebrations, I can’t help but feel sadness for our country. Kawawa talaga ang Pilipinas. So much finger-pointing and noise, while the real needs of our people are pushed aside."

Addressing the long-standing concept of Filipino resilience, Solenn challenged the idea that enduring hardships with a smile is enough:

"Filipinos have always been resilient, finding reasons to smile even through the hardest times. But resilience shouldn't mean accepting things as they are."
