A man from Maragusan, Davao De Oro, has died after joining an alcoholic drinking competition.
He was with his friend, Miguelito, who ended up in a coma after the competition.
According to "Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho," when the two drank the first bottle, they already experienced difficulty of breathing.
It was fiesta in Sitio Dhalia and the men decided to have a drinking contest, where a pair would receive P500 if they can consume one 750ml bottle of 40% alcoholic drink.

Both Arlon and Miguelito were not able to drink the second bottle, with Arlon ending up dead, while Miguelito, ended in a coma.
