A two-year-old died after she accidentally fell or went inside a cauldron with boiling soup for batchoy.
According to the report of ABS-CBN, the incident happened in Brgy. Pantalan, Carles, Iloilo.
The Carles police's investigation revealed that prior to the incident, the baby was just playing.
The mother was preparing the soup and decided to put the cauldron with boiling soup on the ground.

Thereafter, she minded other dishes that she was cooking.
It was sat that moment, when she did not notice the little one going near the cauldron, and who eventually fell or got inside it.
The baby was brought immediately to the hospital, and was found to have fourth degree burn in almost every part of its body due to the boiling soup.
The little one died after several days while being treated at the hospital, Philstar reported.
