A female nursing student in Libona, Bukidnon is gaining praise after she saved the life of a boy who accidentally got strangled in the rope of a makeshift swing.
According to a report by GMA Regional TV One Mindanao report, the seven-year-old was playing with the swing inside their house when the unfortunate incident occurred.
His neighbor, Julla Angela Daculiat, immediately came to the rescue. Daculiat is taking up nursing at Bukidnon State University.
Daculiat quickly performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on the boy. She admitted that she also panicked when she saw the unconscious boy, but she pulled herself together to revive him.

As per the report, it took almost seven minutes before the kid regained consciousness. The child is recovering in the hospital.
