"Ang main reason ko talaga na naisipan kong i-post kinabukasan ‘yong ginawa niyang pagtulong sa amin ay gusto ko pong makarating din ‘yon sa bus company nila na napaka-suwerte nila for having an employee like him na hindi lang dedicated sa trabaho kundi beyond the call of duty na ang ginawa niya,” she said.

The severe and widespread flooding brought about by typhoon Carina did not spare even the iconic PBB house, which many refer to as "Bahay Ni Kuya." A heavy downpour caused massive flooding in various areas in the metro. In a video shared on social media, one can see water seeping into the bedroom of PBB housemates. Other parts of Metro Manila suffered worst case flooding, with floodwaters reaching up to the roofs of some houses.
Earlier in the day, typhoon Carina claimed one of its first casualties in a barangay in Quezon City. A man was swept away by the flood while standing on a small bridge in Barangay Valencia in Quezon City. His lifeless body was later found along the riverbanks of another barangay. It was around five in the morning when the waters on the creek suddenly rose.
