A traffic enforcer in Dasmariñas, Cavite was killed after apprehending a bus driver on Wednesday, July 3.

According to Jamie Santos' report on "Saksi" on Thursday, July 4, the suspect sped up and hit the victim instead of accepting his traffic violation ticket and surrendering his driver's license.

Based on the investigation, the victim apprehended the suspect for violating the "no loading" policy in front of a mall in Barangay Sampaloc 1.

“So ang ginawa po, nung paglapit po nung traffic enforcer po natin, pinaandar niya po yung sasakyan niya, hanggang sa nasagasaan niya po yung traffic enforcer at nakaladkad niya pa po ito,” Rally Roa of the Dasmariñas City Police said told the GMA reporter.

The traffic enforcer was reported dead on the spot. The suspect tried to escape but got arrested in a follow-up operation.

The bus driver was charged with murder and detained at the Dasmariñas City Police custodial facility.
