Three siblings died from a fire in Iloilo, as they were trapped inside their home, ABS-CBN reported.

Both parents were not around since they also attended a wake.

There were five siblings in all and the two older ones ages 8 and 12 were able to escape but sustained injuries.

The younger ones, 4 and 5, both suffering from polio, and the 1-year-old, who could still barely walk, ended up trapped in the blazing house.

According to the report, the children could be heard calling out the name of their father.

In that post, the said member narrated her harrowing experience with the city’s “basaan” tradition, which led her to lose the chance to be considered for a job. The heartbreaking story has since then been carried by major news outlets, including Interaskyon.
