Amidst the criticisms he has been receiving, several parcels from fake online bookings were delivered to his address in Barangay Balong Bato, San Juan City.

According to a “24 Oras” by Jun Veneracion on Monday, the fake orders were allegedly placed by individuals who are disgusted by Lexter’s behavior.

In the report, Barangay Chairman Alvin Alonzo then aired a message for the people behind the fake orders.

“Kami po muli ay umaapela na ang talagang apektado po dito ay ‘yung mga riders na nagtatrabaho nang maayos at bumubuhay sa kani-kanilang mga pamilya.”

“Sana ay itigil na po itong pagpapadala ng kahit ano man,” the chairman urged.

The “basaan” tradition during Wattah Wattah Festival is part of the celebration of the city’s patron saint, Saint John the Baptist. It is being held every 24th of June.

Lexter Castro, also known as Boy Dila, has released a public apology. On his Facebook page on Tuesday, Lexter posted a video addressing the viral incident during the recent Wattah Wattah Festival. According to Lexter, he is stressed by the bashings and threats he has been receiving. He also apologized to the rider he doused with water during the traditional “basaan.”

Earlier, San Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora apologized following the chaos during the Wattah Wattah Festival last June 24. In a press conference, Zamora stated that appropriate charges will be filed against the unruly participants of the traditional “basaan.” While the authorities investigate the viral videos and photos from the feast, Zamora also encouraged the victims to personally file a case against those who behaved unruly during the festival.
