The manager of the controversial resort in Chocolate Hills has turned emotional as she talked about their employees in a recent interview.
Earlier, ABS-CBN News uploaded a video of Raphael Bosano interviewing Juliet Sablas, the sister of the owner of the Captain Peak's Resort.
In the 1-minute video online, Juliet claimed that they were allowed to operate without an environmental compliance certificate, or an ECC.
According to Juliet, the people who were in-charge knew they were operating, even though they lacked an environmental compliance certificate.

"Alam kasi nila na mag-operate kami. Kung talagang, the law if ever, you are not allowed to operate without that certificate, talagang ii-stop nila kami, diba? 'Why are you operating? The ECC s not yet complied.' Wala po," she said.
In tears, Juliet could not help but turn emotional as she talked about the possibility of their resort being closed and their employees.
"Sana ganito, hindi na lang mapasara yung Captain Peak's Resort kasi kawawa naman yun mga taong nagtatrabaho diyan," she said.

As previously reported by KAMI, Anne Curtis has taken to X and reacted to the now-viral resort in the middle of Chocolate Hills. She asked if the news about the resort was actually true. The actress then mentioned that it was really sad that they were allowing such in the beautiful natural wonders of the country. She also added a crying emoji at the end of her tweet.
Meanwhile, Janno Gibbs did not mince words in expressing his anger over the resort that was established in Chocolate Hills. He took to IG and shared a photo of the aerial view of resort situated at the foot of the renowned natural wonder. "At binabuy na ang Chocolate Hills," the comedian wrote. Many netizens also expressed the same indignation over the establishment.
