As per Brig. Gen. Paul Kenneth Lucas, police chief of Calabarzon, they are confident she is still alive based on their leads.
"We are committing na si Catherine, we’ll bring home Catherine safe. Unang-una, meron nang initial report, ‘no, which I cannot divulge, kung ano po yung natanggap namin na report sa investigation. We are very confident na itong si Miss Catherine, e, buhay pa."

Miss Grand Philippines contestant Catherine Camilon has been reported missing since October 12. Her sister Chin-Chin Camilon took to Facebook to ask for help in finding the beauty queen-teacher. Chin-Chin also shared an image showing details about her missing sibling, sharing that she is 26 years old, with a height of 5’6.” She then uploaded an image of Catherine’s vehicle and its plate number.
Her sister, Chin-Chin Camilon, expressed her great concern and love for the missing beauty queen and teacher. Chin-Chin also wrote a message to Catherine telling her to come home and surprise their mom, who is celebrating her birthday today. The sister shared last Friday that many people are extremely worried about Catherine since it is unusual for her not to message her family about her whereabouts.
