Suspek sa Jovelyn Galleno case na si Leobert Dasmariñas, ipapasailalim sa lie detector test ni Tulfo

- Leobert Dasmariñas, the suspect in the case of Jovelyn Galleno, would be subjected to a lie detector test by Sen. Raffy Tulfo

- This would help determine whether he is telling the truth or not with regards to his pronouncements on the case of Jovelyn

- Sen. Tulfo said that if the result of the lie detector test would show that Leobert does not have any hand in the assault and killing of Jovelyn, then they will continue to help him

- However, in case it turns out that Leobert is lying, they will cease all help

Leobert Dasmariñas, the suspect behind the killing and assault of Jovelyn Galleno, will be made to undergo a lie detector test by Sen. Raffy Tulfo.

In an episode of RTIA, it was revealed that the senator wanted such test to help determine whether he was telling the truth or not.

If the results of the lie detector test would show that Leobert was indeed telling the truth, then they would continue to help him, Radyo Bandera Philippines reported.

Leobert also signified that he is willing to undergo a lie detector test.

In case the result of the test would show that Leobert is not telling the truth, Tulfo also signified that they will cease all the help that was rendered to him.

It can be recalled that there were several instances where Leobert changed his statemens from the time that he admitted to the killing and assault of Jovelyn.

Jovelyn Gallano is a 22-year-old employee working in a mall in Palawan. She went missing on August 5. According to her sister, her employer said that Jovelyn already signed out from her work around 6:30 p.m. on that day. She was still able to send a message to her sister but she wasn’t able to go home anymore.

The family of Leobert Dasmariñas, one of the two suspects in the Jovelyn Galleno case, has given their statement in an interview about their kin’s admission of the purported crime. According to his mother, while she wouldn’t immediately dismiss as untrue the admission of Leobert, she doesn’t feel the “impact” of the allegations made being the mother of the suspect. The suspect’s younger sister, on the other hand, said she can’t believe the allegations because she knew her “kuya” well. Recently, a skull and skeleton, purportedly belonging to Jovelyn, was discovered by the police right in the location where Dasmariñas said they abandoned the body.

The suspect who admitted to allegedly killing and assaulting Jovelyn Galleno has not been charged with a crime yet. This was according to the Philippine National Police (PNP) in the city. A police officer explained that they do not have the result of the DNA examination yet that would prove that it was indeed the bones of Jovelyn. The process will take a long time but the PNP is also doing everything to expedite the case.
