The two suspects involved in the killing and assault of Jovelyn Galleno, namely Leobert Dasmariñas and Jobert Valdestamon, will be facing charges.
These are the cousins of the victim, with the former, admitting to the crime of assaulting and killing Jovelyn.
As per Radyo Bandera Philippines, the charges against the suspects will push through now that the DNA result on the skull and bones found in Palawan were confirmed by the PNP Forensic Group to belong to Jovelyn.

Previously, the case was not pushed through although there was an admission from the suspect since the body of the crime was not yet confirmed.
"Sa amin po, sa PP (Philippine National Police), inamin po nya na sya ang pumatay at nanggahasa sa kanyang pinsan, so person of interest na sya," Puerto Princesa City police spokesperson Police Captain Maria Victoria Iquin.
Jovelyn Gallano is a 22-year-old employee working in a mall in Palawan. She went missing on August 5. According to her sister, her employer said that Jovelyn already signed out from her work around 6:30 p.m. on that day. She was still able to send a message to her sister but she wasn’t able to go home anymore.
The suspect in the case of Jovelyn Galleno showed authorities the place where the alleged crime happened. In a report by Radyo Bandera Philippines, the suspect could be seen pointing at the alleged locations of the crime. He showed authorities where Jovelyn was allegedly assaulted and killed. The suspect also showed the area where they allegedly dumped the belongings of the victim.
Jonalyn Galleno, the sister of Jovelyn, took to Facebook and decried the alleged wrong clothing shown to them. According to Jonalyn, the clothes that were shown do not belong to Jovelyn. She also asked why it was not allowed to take photos of the clothing allegedly belonging to Jovelyn. Jonalyn also added another question, why this was not released to the media.
