"Kung ganun status po nun, matagal na po yon," said the cemetery caretaker.
"Kasi pag bago lang namatay, mga isang buwan o dalawa, malansa pa yan at saka may laman-laman pang natitira yan," he added.
"Itong utak, yung utak natin, parang gatas yan eh, yung utak natin ang pinakamalansa," he said.
"Kung may formalin, maputi pa rin siya..." the caretaker noted.
The reporter explained that the area is forested and it's possible that there might be wild animals that ate the corpse.
"Sir, kahit kainin pa ng bayawak, yung utak, hindi basta maano yun sa loob ng bungo..." the caretaker explained.

Jovelyn Gallano is a 22-year-old employee working in a mall in Palawan. She went missing on August 5. According to her sister, her employer said that Jovelyn already signed out from her work around 6:30 p.m. on that day. She was still able to chat with her sister but she wasn’t able to go home anymore.

Leobert Dasmariñas, one of the two suspects in the alleged abduction, molestation, and eventual slaying of Jovelyn, denied he took part in molesting of her cousin. He narrated in detail how he and another cousin whom he identified as Jovert Valdestamon, waited for Jovelyn to alight from the multicab she was riding at the time. He then recounted how Jovert, dragged their cousin to a particular location where he did the dastardly act to her. Leobert earlier pointed out to PNP officers the place where they allegedly abandoned Jovelyn's body.
The family of Leobert Dasmariñas, one of the two suspects in the Jovelyn Galleno case, has given their statement in an interview about their kin’s admission of the purported crime. According to his mother, while she wouldn’t immediately dismiss as untrue the admission of Leobert, she doesn’t feel the “impact” of the allegations made being the mother of the suspect. The suspect’s younger sister, on the other hand, said she can’t believe the allegations because she knew her “kuya” well. Recently, a skull and skeleton, purportedly belonging to Jovelyn, was discovered by the police right in the location where Dasmariñas said they abandoned the body.
